Ruby Parkinson

I’m Ruby, a freelance journalist and a current journalism student at RMIT University.

I cover politics, AFL, lifestyle and culture. I’m particularly interested in the intersection of politics, sport and identity and how these spaces influence everyday Australian life. 

I love telling stories that matter and shedding light on those in our communities that should be celebrated. 

Through my studies I have developed an interest in writing and reporting for radio, the fast paced environment is something I thrive in, being able to tell stories that are relevant in a timely manner.
